Veel nieuws is er niet dezer dagen maar zo af en toe komt ons toch nog iets ter oren en zo ook het nieuws van de "nieuwe" maya44SE. Nu bestaat deze geluidskaart al een eeuwigheid maar Mixvibes heeft er nu als zijnde software fabrikant zijn eigen label op geplakt en gaat de kaart in combinatie met een DVS LE stukje software leveren en doet daarbij ook nog een tijdcode vinyl... althans dat werd vermeld in de PDF die ik van Bernardo (QDJ.nl) kreeg.

Opvallend is dat Mixvibes gaat werken met een geluidskaart voor tijdcode waar geen voorversterking in zit, het phono signaal zal dus software matig gecorrigeerd moeten worden. Dat gebeurde in het verleden als door software als djDecks en het werkt op zich wel redelijk maar een RIAA correctie door software uit laten voeren is iets waar ik zelf niet kapot van ben. Bij het pakket word naast de software ook nog een tijdcode vinyl en een DVS-LE software mee geleverd. Wat de exacte beperkingen zijn van de LE software is mij nog niet duidelijk maar het lijkt er op dat de gebruiker maar 1 deck tot zijn beschikking heeft.
