Ecler Nuo4 Traktor Scratch template

Goed nieuws voor de bezitters van de Nuo4 en Traktor Scratch want er is een template file beschikbaar. Wat kun je er mee? Nou toch nog best wel veel aangezien de Nuo4 een ingebouwde midi controller heeft en je dus bijvoorbeeld door je file lists heen kunt bladeren, effecten binnen Traktor in kan stellen etc etc etc. Oftewel een handigheidje op je mixer voor Traktor Scratch.

De file is hier te downloaden en natuurlijk alleen te gebruiken voor mensen die een Nuo4 en Traktor Scratch hebben (een zeer klein aantal mensen dus). In het zip bestand vind je de Traktor .tks file en een text file waar alle midi commando's in staan. Verder een word document waar het volgende in staat (kun je meteen zien of je hem uberhaupt wel wil gebruiken).


Ecler Nuo4 - Traktor Scratch mapping
This mapping has been created at ECLER for the purpose of controlling some basic functions of Traktor Scratch with the NUO4 MIDI Control panel.

LAYOUT 1 - is tailored to search and load tracks, exploring lists, pages and favourites playlists. You can also select the type of channel filter.
LAYOUT 3 - is tailored to control channel filters and LAYOUT 2 is not active, so you can assign those controls to other functions.

Some functions are general, like for instance moving up or down through a tracks list or favourites lists, while many others are assigned to a channel, like for instance loading a track or controlling a filter frequency. These functions are assigned to channel A or B with the A/B switch at the bottom of the MIDI Control panel.

LAYOUT 1

• Encoder 1 Rotate - List Up/Down (search tracks in the list)
• Encoder 1 Push - Load Track (load a track on channel A or B)
• Encoder 2 Rotate - Favourites (search playlists)
• Encoder 3 Rotate - Page Up/Down (fast track search in the list)
• Encoder 4 Rotate - Select Filter (select a filter on channel A or B)
