Het was een ongelofelijk veel gebruikte soundcard in de alternatieve timecode vinyl setups totdat ESI stopte met de productie van de Maya44 USB en het gat opgevuld werd door de U46DJ die al voorzien was van phono pre-amps en de hele reutemeteut.

Toch was de Maya een mooiere portable oplossing en van een betere kwaliteit, en nu is ie dus weer terug in het assortiment.
