Citronic SM FX400

Ook niet echt nieuw maar wel eindelijk de specs van de nieuwe Citronic SM FX400 mixer. Lijkt mij een concurrent te worden van de Reloop RMX40USB. Van beide mixers is echter verder nog weinig bekend dan de fabrieks specs. ik heb echter uit betrouwbare bron vernomen dat de RMX40 USB binnenkort op de deurmat zal liggen ;-)

The SM-FX400 Ultima is a stylish 4-Channel DJ mixer, offering USB inputs, and an advanced DSP effect unit with on-board sampler. A robust design with user replaceable faders, the SM-FX400 is ideal for Mobile, pub and Club installations.

The SM-FX400 Ultima has 2 microphone inputs, one of which is controlled with the dedicated Mic channel and one assigned to the 4th channel as an extra option. Mic 1 has a 3-band EQ and Mic override system. Each of the 4 music channels has an individual gain control and 3-band EQ offering +12dB of Boost and 36dB offering Total Kill.

Each of the music channels are fully assignable to the optical crossfader on either side A or B. The unit has an on-board digital effects processor offering 12 effects and 2 sampler banks. The effects can be assigned to each of the music channels, mic channel, crossfade A and B and master output.

The effects cue allows for the effect to be heard pre-fade, this allows for minor adjustments to be made before making it live. The dual sampler has a loop and reverse function and can be assigned to either side of the crossfade, the sampler can also be set to trigger from the crossfade.

The effects bank consists of: Reverb, Delay, Echo 1, Echo 2, Phaser, Flanger, Detune, Pitch Shift, Filter, Kill, Chop, and Pan.
