Formula Sound releases FF4000

The features and layout of the FF-4000 were determined in collaboration with leading loudspeaker manufacturers Funktion One, who canvassed many DJs world wide on their requirements.

The result is a mixer which is not only of the highest sound quality, as you would expect from Formula Sound, but also incorporates the features and layout which DJs have asked for.

The FF-4000 is a 4 channel version of the FF-6000. In response to requests for a smaller version of the FF-6000 we removed one Mic input and one Line/Phono input to produce the FF-4000.

It has the same performance as the FF-6000 and still offers linear or optional rotary faders but the width is now 350mm or 13.78" and is not rack mounting.

There are two versions, one with a standard cross-fader and the other with the PRO X cross-fader. I believe the FF-4000 is the first mixer available with the PRO X fader factory fitted.

The PRO X fader is adjustable by the user to achieve optimal setting and the FF-4000 allows easy access for adjustment through its removable fader panel.

Eclectic Breaks recently borrowed a FF-4000 mixer to show at the London Calling exhibition. Here is what Siya Fakher, a director at Eclectic Breaks had to say about the mixer. "This mixer is really tried and tested and feels very solid and the inclusion of the Pro X, we feel will make the mixer a lot more appealing to DJs, Venues and Bars who regularly have a variety of DJs performing different genres of music which all make heavy use of the crossfader. This makes the Formula Sound the perfect option for rugged environments and by putting in the PXF you are making this mixer more versatile for the new generation of DJs who are more technically proficient and use scratching techniques in their sets".

Helaas pindakaas voor hun zijn ze niet de eerste met een factory fitted (oftewel standaard) geplaatste Pro X crossfader, dat was namelijk de AEM100 mixer van Audio innovative.
