Denon X1500 update

Nee het is dit keer geen software update maar een hardware matige update. Één in de vorm van cosmetische ingreep en één die onder de motorkap plaats vind.

De X1500 krijgt namelijk een nieuwe face plate zodat ie beter matched bij de S3500's en een nieuwe crossfader.

Echt nieuws is het niet maar omdat het volgende week echt officieel bekend gemaakt gaat worden...... maken wij het lekker een week eerder officieel bekend :-P

De Denon X1500 krijgt namelijk dezelfde looks mee als de S3500 en dat wil zeggen een nieuwe alu brushed face plate. Het plaatje rechts is klikbaar en in de vergroting heb ik er een DN-S3500 naast gezet zodat het wat makkelijker vergelijken is.
De X1500 oogt in ieder geval een stuk frisser en wat hipper dankzij zo'n brushed face plate.







Dat is echter niet de grootste verandering die er gedaan is aan de X1500 want veel belangrijker is de X fader update. Men stapt namelijk af van de Penny en Giles cross fader en monteerd er de nieuwe Eclectic breaks pro x fade in (plaatje rechts klikbaar voor groter formaat).
Of het om een aangepaste versie gaat of dat de standaard pro x fade gemonteerd word is niet helemaal duidelijk. Wat wel duidelijk is dat is dat de mixer op het gebied van de cross fader op vooruit gaat.

Het is dan welliswaar geen contact loze fader zoals de grootste concurent van de X1500, de Nuo5 wel heeft maarrrrrrrr de Pro X fade heeft andere voordelen.

Wat dus nog niet duidelijk is dat is of het om een gemodificeerde versie gaat of niet, ik denk persoonlijk dat men de complete fader gewoon zo in de mixer  plaatst zonder modificaties. Ik heb de pro X fade op de Messe in mijn handen gehad en het is gewoon een hele nette crossfader dus slechter zal de X1500 er zeker niet van worden.
