The Perfect Combination of Value and Performance.
Stanton's RM.406 and RM.404 are professional 4-channel mixers for club and mobile DJs. Not only do they look great on the outside, they're also built with SST™ for killer sound quality. And they come loaded with all the inputs and outputs you could possibly need—including a Subwoofer output (RM.406 only) and a dedicated iPod™ input. And with Stanton's innovative Illumiknobs™ and backlit buttons, mixing in the dark is easy. If you demand quality and value in your mixer, check out the new RM.406 and RM.404!
Engineered with SST
Buy a Stanton mixer with SST, and you're guaranteed excellent sound quality and value. SST mixers deliver razor-flat frequency response to put the clarity back in your music. You also get very low distortion, ensuring your mixes are always clean and transparent—the way they were intended to be—while ultra-low noise circuitry keeps hiss and hum out of the way. SST mixers are also immune to channel bleed and can give you dead quiet fader kill. Don't believe us? Check out the detailed report that comes with every SST mixer—proof that we meet or exceed the most demanding audio specifications anywhere!
Hook It Up
Do you use multiple turntables, CD players and microphones? The RM.406 and RM.404 can handle everything from a basic mobile rig to complicated club setups with tons of gear. Thanks to the myriad of switchable inputs, you can connect up to four turntables, 10 line-level sources, and up to three microphones (two on the RM.404)! But what's really handy is the 1/8-inch minijack input found on the mixer's front panel. It's the perfect way to connect an Apple® iPod™ without having to reach around the back and re-wire. There are also plenty of outputs, including Master, Zone and Booth. The RM.406 model even has a Subwoofer output with a built-in crossover.
Light Up Your Life

With the RM.406 and RM.404, Stanton introduces new innovations designed to make mixing in a dark club environment easier. To start, each of the Gain and EQ knobs feature a thin beam of light that can actually show your knob position in the dark. We call them Illumiknobs, but you'll call them brilliant! What's more, the Cue button and FX button (RM.406 only) are back-lit, so you'll always know when they're engaged. Both mixers also use new diffused LEDs on the input channels and master output. This effect gives you very smooth metering and can really stand out.
They Want FX...
Want to add some effects to your mix? The RM.406 model makes it easy with a built-in FX Loop. Dedicated Send and Return jacks make it easy to send signal to external effects processors like the Stanton DFX-1, and then assign which channels get the effect via easy-to-read FX buttons on each channel. You can control the level being sent to the effect processor via the Send knob as well as the amount of the effect via the Return knob. Take your mix to the next level and get creative with the RM.406!
Recess Is Over
Not on the RM.406 and RM.404. If you've ever had to rack-mount a mixer before, you know how difficult it can be when there's lots of cables coming out the top. That's why Stanton engineers built both mixers with a recessed back panel that leaves plenty of room for just about any cable you connect. Why waste valuable rack spaces when you don't have to?
