Ableton live 5.2 beta vrij gegeven

Een tijdje geleden berichten we er al over dat ie er aan zat te komen en nu is ie er dan ook eindelijk, de beta versie van Ableton Live 5.2.

De beta versie heeft wat beperkingen maar is in principe een full versie die je kunt gebruiken en de belangrijkste update is de ondersteuning van de Intel macs.


The beta version allows users to get a firsthand look at Live 5.2, test compatibility and report bugs.

Live 5.2 brings native support for Apple's new Intel-Macs. One of Ableton's major development goals for 2006 is to deliver faster audio performance to Live users. On the Mac side, this goal coincides nicely with the announcement of the new Intel-based Macs. Live 5.2 is the first step in providing Live users support for the Intel-Mac platform and significant gains in audio performance. It is very important that we get your feedback during the beta test period, so that we can make Live 5.2 even better.

Live 5.2 beta versions can be unlocked using the beta serial number below:

The beta version has a few limitations:

• The system language cannot be set to Japanese.
• No manual is included.
• The skin can only be set to the default.
• Only a limited set of presets, samples, Live Sets and lessons is included.
