Redsound komt met een opvolger van de Soundbite

Redsound onder andere bekend van de Cycloops/Soundbite en Microsync komt met een opvolger voor hun Loopsampler. Hij zal Soundbite XL gaan heten en komt rond 20 januari op de markt, Wanneer hij in nederland aankomt is even de vraag maar het ziet er wel erg veelbelovend uit!



SoundBITE XL
RED Sound are pleased to announce the release of a new automatic DJ loop sampler
module, SoundBITE ‘XL’.
Combining RED Sound’s acclaimed V2 BPM engine and patented ‘cyclic sampling’
technique, SoundBITE XL automatically creates seamless loop samples that cycle
continuously in synchronisation with each other and the original music source. This
unique technology allows DJ’s to instantly record and playback any combination of
loop samples and re-mix tracks on-the-fly.
SoundBITE XL’s design is based on the original SoundBITE model with the following
new features:

• Loop Group modes – replacing the previous fixed format of 6 x loop samples
  SoundBITE XL now offers three loop 'groups', delivering a much wider variation of preset beat loops. The user can choose to work with any one of the following loop groups:
  
  Group 1: 1 - 2 - 4 - 4 - 8 - 16 beats (default)
  Group 2: 1/4 - 1/2 - 1 - 4 - 8 - 16 beats
  Group 3: 1/4 - 1/2 - 1 - 4 - 4 - 32 beats
  
  New loop durations include a massive 32 beats for playing back extended sections of a song together with much shorter ¼ and ½ beat durations for ultra-creative beat remixing.
  
  
  
• Loop Filter mode – this new feature allows the user to apply analog style filtering effects to the loop sample output. Low, Band and High-Pass filter types are included, the filter level being controlled in real-time by the large EDIT jog dial. The powerful Low-Pass filter can be used to apply progressive high/mid frequency roll-off for a classic heavy filtered sound. The Band-Pass filter can be used to isolate a particular element in the audio whilst the High-Pass filter can be used to trim the bass frequencies of the loop output to avoid multiple signal overload in the mix.
  
  
  
• External Filter mode – this special mode converts SoundBITE XL into an external filter effects module. The built-in filter effects can be applied directly to the incoming audio signal allowing the user to modify any playback audio from their decks in realtime. Loop recording/playback is de-activated in this mode.
