Musikmesse 2011 – Numark Mixdeck Quad

De Numark Mixdeck Quad is de opvolger van de huidige Mixdeck en is een compleet DJ werkstation, welke vanaf nu met iPad compatible is. Hierdoor heb je geen extra interface meer nodig, maar kun je direct tracks vanaf je iPad afspelen met Mixdeck. Verder zijn er geen opzienbarende veranderingen ten opzichte van het huidige model. Numark is één van de eerste fabrikanten die zich echt gaat focussen op de Apple hype en met Mixdeck Quad zijn er tijdens de NAMM Show in LA in januari ook al een iDJ app uitgebracht en ook iDJ Live. AKAI, welke onder dezelfde vlag vandaan komt als Numark, kwam al met producten zoals Synthstation, waarmee je ook de iPad of iPhone kunt integreren in je producties. Ons inziens is het nog maar afwachten hoe dit gaat aanslaan, maar er zal een groot deel van de consumenten blij zijn met deze ontwikkeling, omdat DJ hier net weer een beetje toegankelijker mee wordt.
