Reloop introduceerde een klein aantal weken geleden de Reloop Mixage MIDI Controller in twee varianten. Eentje met interne geluidskaart en eentje zonder deze geluidskaart. Een truckje wat ze ook al eerder uithaalden bij de Digital Jockey. Reloop houdt vooralsnog vast aan het verleden door ook voor de Reloop Mixage een limited edition uit te brengen. De plaatjes zijn gespot op de website van Reloop, dus de kans is groot dat deze wordt uitgebracht. De vraag is alleen of we allemaal nog wel zitten te wachten op weer een witte variant. Aan de andere kant zullen er altijd wel weer liefhebbers te vinden zijn. Aan de tekening te zien zal de witte, trendy kleur worden toegepast op de variant met audio interface.

The perfect introduction to digital mixing: based on the critically acclaimed Digital Jockey series, Reloop presents two compact controllers with the Mixage series, that do not accept compromise regarding quality and feeling. Clearly and well arranged, every DJ will find his way around – whether newbie or advanced learner. The function spectrum is ideally adapted for Traktor LE and offers all the important features in order to rock the party crowd!

Two touchsensitive XXL jog wheels can be used either for scratching and pitch bending or for quick track searching. With the big transport section (play, cue, cup & sync) the track is quickly in the mix and due to the shift function the section may also be used as cue point trigger. Thanks to the precise sync feature every change-over is perfectly aligned and the DJ can focus on creative mixing. Effects such as delay, flanger or reverb can be easily selected and manipulated via a slip-proof FX encoder. Moreover a special controller for filter (and pan) can be used for wonderful high-pass/low-pass sweeps. The loop section comes with auto loop, in & out buttons, and a further encoder for quick beat matching. The high-resolution 14 bit pitchfader and the illuminated pitch bend buttons round off the player section.

Besides 3-band equalizer and gain the classically arranged 2 channel mixer also offers an LED level display and convenient MIDI data & power status lights. The illustrious, comfortable Trax encoder makes digging in the music library become child's play. Master and headphones volume and the cue-mix function as high-performance fader are always at hand.

On the rear panel the LED backlight and the jog wheel's sensitivity can be comfortably adjusted. The shift lock switch is also highly practical as it is used to activate the shift function as toggle or hold mode. A further highlight is the DJ Team switch: Herewith two Mixage controllers can be combined and connected to a computer. This way one DJ team can control four decks in a software without getting in the way of the other regarding MIDI messages – for this feature Traktor PRO is necessary.

A pre-configured Traktor LE version is already included; easily connected via USB  and selected via Easy Setup, the mix can be started at once. Of course Reloop Mixage is also compatible with any other software that endorses MIDI control.

Reloop Mixage can be stored easily due to the compact shape and transported effortlessly in every gig bag. Reloop Mixage is characterized by a clearly arranged user interface; everybody will quickly get well along with it. Such high-quality components including robust metal panels and a aluminium cover plate are almost unheard-of in this affordable price range. Save while purchasing – but not regarding feeling and touch!

Those who do not possess a multi-channel soundcard should opt for the Mixage Interface Edition. A professional multi-channel interface is used for this version which facilitates the connection of a sound system and headphones for direct monitoring of the tracks. The ASIO driver architecture facilitates lowest latency and fast mixing without delay. For hosts, MCs, or vocalists a microphone connection on the front side has been integrated. This can be routed directly to the master-out or to a computer for recording; the volume can also be adjusted directly.
