Goed nieuws voor de mensen die op zoek zijn naar een betaalbare maar kwalitatief goede tijdcode setup want Native Instruments komt met een uitgeklede versie van het Traktor Scratch Pro pakket genaamd Traktor Scratch Duo. Geen 4 decks en geen Audio8 maar 2 decks en een Audio4 en daarnaast komt er ook nog een software only versie zonder tijdcode ondersteuning waarbij alleen 2 decks support word geboden.

En dan niet geheel onbelangrijk, de prijskaartjes welke aan de nieuwe producten gehangen worden. Voor de Traktor Duo software (uitgaande van volledige versie, geen upgrades dus) moet 99 euro neergeteld worden en voor het pakket met de tijdcode ondersteuning (Traktor Scratch Duo) zal 349 euro neergeteld moeten worden.

Slim van NI om een uitgeklede versie van de Traktor Pro versie te lanceren tegen deze prijzen? Ik denk het wel want door deze aktie word de onderkant van de markt langzaam maar zeker ook redelijk afgedicht waardoor alternatieven minder interessant worden dan voorheen het geval was en het gat met bijvoorbeeld Mixvibes qua prijs vrij klein word.
